Therapeutic Family Interventions (TFI) understands that your privacy is important to you and that you care about how your information is used and shared online. We respect and value the privacy of everyone who visits the TFI website and will only collect and use information in ways that are useful to you and in a manner consistent with your rights and our obligations under the law.

Cath Hunter is the owner of the web site Therapeutic Family Interventions and for this purpose is the data-controller of your personal information as it relates to this web site.

This Privacy Policy applies only to your use of the TFI website. It does not extend to any websites that are linked to from the site (whether we provide those links or whether they are shared by other users). We have no control over how your data is collected, stored or used by other websites.

What data do we collect?

Some data will be collected automatically by the TFI website. Other data will only be collected if you voluntarily submit it and consent to TFI using it for the purposes set out below, for example, when signing up for our email newsletter.
Depending upon your use of the TFI site, we may collect some or all of the following data:

  2. contact information such as email addresses, postal addresses and telephone numbers
  1. financial information such as credit / debit card numbers. This is securely collected and processed by our payment processing partners. We never have access to your payment information

Ordering from the TFI site

When you place an order with us, we will receive your name, billing and delivery address, phone number and email address.  We will only use these details to process and deliver your order, or deal with any queries you have related to that order.

The only circumstances in which we will share your data are in processing your order or complying with the law. We will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose, other than the circumstances listed below, or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent. The circumstances in which we may share your data are:

  • with delivery companies to fulfil your order
    • to comply with legal or tax obligations

We will only retain your details for as long as necessary in order to process the transaction and we will securely store any data collected during that period. We retain personal data related to orders or customer queries for six years. After this time we will delete your data from my records.

Signing up to the TFI email list

When you sign up to my email list we will receive your name and email address.  We will only use these details to send you occasional email newsletters. We will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose.  Every newsletter you receive contains an option to unsubscribe from our email list.

Sharing your data

TFI has contracts with third parties to supply products and services for you on our behalf.  This may include processing payments, delivering goods, advertising and marketing.  In some cases the third party may require access to some or all of your data.  When your data is required for such a purpose we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your data will be handled safely and securely and in accordance with your rights, our obligations and the obligations of the third party under the law.

Purpose: To arrange delivery of the products you have purchased

You have the right to know what personal data I hold about you, and to ask for that data to be changed or deleted. You also have the right to complain to the ICO if you believe there is a problem with the way I handle your data.
